DEU finds three illegal indoor cannabis operations

EUREKA, CA. (KIEM) – After serving a warrant, the Humboldt County Sherriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) busted a large illegal cannabis grow in the Eureka area on Tuesday.

According to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, deputies located three indoor cannabis operations on two separate parcels of land. One on the 5000 block of Mitchell Road, and the other on the 7000 block of London Drive. Deputies seized more than 1,700 growing cannabis plants, and 337 pounds of cannabis shake. The parcels did not possess the required county permit and state license to cultivate cannabis commercially.

According to police, no arrests were made, but this case is still under investigation.
