Klamath woman dies in crash

DEL NORTE (KIEM)- A Klamath woman is dead after a two-vehicle crash in Del Norte County. The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene just after 7 Friday morning north of the Mill Creek Campground.

They said a 63-year old woman was driving a Subaru Outback northbound and for unknown reasons crossed into the opposing lane colliding with a ford F-150 truck and then striking a tree.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the truck, 33 year-old Matthew Goodgame of Crescent City, was uninjured in the crash.
