City of Arcata receives funding to help homeless community

Arcata, Ca., (KIEM) The county of Humboldt has recently awarded the city of Arcata with Homeless Emergency Aid Program Funding worth $400,000. The city of Arcata’s Community Development Department received a draft contract this week for a 5 mobile home expansion in one of its local mobile home parks. The installations stem from the city’s effort to help provide housing for the homeless.
