Missing Eureka man found dead at McKay Tract

CUTTEN, Ca (KIEM)- A Eureka man reported missing last December was found dead at the McKay Tract

On Sunday afternoon, a survey crew found the skeletal remains of 44 year-old Troy Wigington in a wooded fields area near Campton and Walnut Street.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s office responded to the area and located Wigington’s ID and clothing. An autopsy was performed by the coroners office and there were no signs of foul play.
