Structure fire in Crescent City extinguished with help of local business

A structure fire has been extinguished in Crescent City with the help of a local business.

This morning, Crescent City Fire and Rescue responded to the two-hundred block of National Boulevard for reports of a structure fire. Upon firefighters arrival light smoke was visible and coming from the bedroom window, which was removed.

Fire personnel learned that staff from Frank’s Heating and Refrigeration responded from their shop across the street. They removed the front window and extinguished the growing fire with a garden hose.

Crescent City Fire says the fire could have been much more serious if not for the business’s quick response.
