The City of Eureka is Seeking Donations to Help Put on its Annual Fireworks Show

EUREKA (KIEM) – The Fourth of July is coming up. The City of Eureka is seeking donations to help put on its thousand dollar Independence Day spectacular!

So far, the city has raised over $10,000. But it actually costs $30,000 to put on the whole show and uses hundreds of fireworks shell.

The fireworks show takes place along the Waterfront and the pyrotechnics goes off along the Humboldt Bay.

Eureka City Manager Greg Sparks says, this fireworks show is truly special and one of a kind.

If you would like to donate to the fireworks show, you can make checks payable to The City of Eureka and drop them off at the City Council Building on 531 K Street.
