PG&E to hold community Wildfire Safety Program

FORTUNA (KIEM)- PG&E is inviting the community to learn more about the Community Wildfire Safety Program on July 15.

At the Fortuna River Lodge Conference Room from 6-8 p.m., you can hear about wildfire safety, emergency preparedness, meet with PG&E representatives, and ask questions and share feedback.

Topics will include public safety power shutoff, enhanced vegetation management around power lines, hardening electric system for future failure, and accelerated safety inspections and repairs of electric infrastructure.
