Humboldt County Grand Jury reports Humboldt County buildings not ADA Compliant

Humboldt County, Ca., (KIEM) National Statistics indicate that 18% of Americans are classified as physically or mentally handicapped.

The same statistics state Humboldt County has a little over 28,000 disabled residents with seniors and veterans making up a substantial amount of the population.

This week Redwood News received a statement from the Humboldt County Grand Jury showing that Humboldt County is failing, when it comes to its buildings being compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Our Jatrissa Wooten went down to the Humboldt County Courthouse to get some answers.
