HBF Urges Residents to have Preparedness Kit Ready

Humboldt County, Ca. (KIEM) — Do you have an emergency kit? Humboldt Bay Fire is sharing tips on how to ensure that you, your family, and your pets are safe in case of an emergency.

The goal is to make sure that you are set for at least 72 hours in case a large-scale emergency hits our area. Here are some of the items that should be in your kit: one gallon of water per person, per day, non-perishable food, a first aid kit, extra cell phone chargers, a flashlight, and the list goes on.
