The U-17 Humboldt Eagles recently took home the American Legion Baseball State Championship title. Keenan Morris is a member of the Eagles and baseball has been a part of his life for as long as he can remember.
Morris plays shortstop and second base and has enjoyed playing summer ball with the same group of guys for the last several years.
The chemistry on and off the field has been essential to the team’s success. They just wrapped up their season with a 30-12 record.
“We just have really good team chemistry, said Morris. We all get along, we like being around each other. We just kind of feed off of the positive energy.”
Morris said winning the championship didn’t set in until he was surrounded by his team after the big accomplishment.
