Drug Arrest in McKinleyville

MCKINLEYVILLE (KIEM)- A man from Mexico is behind bars after reportedly distributing narcotics throughout Humboldt County.

After receiving reports and a multi-week investigation, Special Agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force conducted a traffic stop in the 15-hundred block of Anna Sparks Way in McKinleyville.

The driver has been identified as 30-year-old Manuel Pacheco-Quijada who has reportedly been distributing heroin throughout the county.

Agents searched the vehicle and located about 10 ounces of heroin packaged for sales and over 3-thousand U.S. Dollars.

Pacheco has been booked for possession and transportation of controlled substances.
