Body Discovered at Trinidad State Beach Identified as an Arcata Resident

TRINIDAD (KIEM) – A body discovered at Trinidad State Beach on Sunday morning has been identified as 61-year-old Ronald Moore of Arcata.

The Humboldt County Corners Office said, Moore of was found in the water by a group of kayakers. The Sheriff’s Office and Cal Fire removed Moore from the water.

The cause of death is unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
