Take a Bite out of Blight Volunteers Finish Two Cleanup Projects

Del Norte County, Ca. (KIEM) – Volunteers with Take a Bite out of Blight complete two local cleanup projects and remove unwanted trash in Del Norte County.

They worked on cleaning up a county owned property next to Walmart, and also a private property that was cited by code enforcement. The projects began about four weeks ago and have removed over four tons of trash that have accumulated over many years of illegal camping.

The Take a Bite out of Blight program is organized by Del Norte County Supervisor Roger Gitlin.
