Three Men Behind Bars for Alleged Armed Robbery

GARBERVILLE, Ca (KIEM) – Sunday morning three men are taken into custody for an alleged armed robbery in Miranda.

Around 9:30 Sheriff’s deputies respond to Salmon Creek in Miranda after reports of a robbery with gunshots fired. California Highway Patrol located the vehicle involved with the suspects at a Shell Gas Station on the 800 block of Redwood Drive in Garberville. 

37-year-old Melvin Mack and 29-year-old John Forrester were taken into custody without incident. 25-year-old Pedro Sanchez was located in Weott and detained by officers from California State Parks and Cal-Fire.

All three men were transported to the Humboldt County Jail for robbery, conspiracy, and other charges.
