Construction Begins On Courthouse Project

EUREKA (KIEM)- Construction has begun on the Courthouse Project for Victim and Children Services.

The Courthouse Fifth Floor Remodel Project kicked off Monday night. The construction project will renovate the unoccupied space on the south side of the courthouse 5th floor. This will make space for the District Attorney’s Child Abuse Services Team and the Victim Witness Program.

The majority of work will be conducted after normal business hours. Crews are expected to work 5 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.

Construction is expected to be completed by March of 2020.
