C.H.P. Arrest Man After High Speed Pursuit in Stolen Truck

HUMBOLDT COUNTY (KIEM)- A man is in custody after leading California Highway Patrol on a high-speed pursuit in a stolen truck yesterday morning.

A Sheriff’s deputy attempted to pull over the suspect, Corey Eugene Hulbert, after the truck was reported stolen.

After not complying to pull over, Hulbert led a pursuit eastbound on Highway 299.

C.H.P. eventually disabled the truck with a spike trap and Hulbert fled into the nearby woods.

Sheriff’s deputies eventually located him and placed him under arrest for narcotics and stolen vehicle charges.
