Board of Equalization Chair Malia Cohen Meeting with Local County Governments

EUREKA (KIEM) – A big time state official is taking a tour of the North Coast. One of her stops was at the Humboldt County Courthouse

Malia Cohen serves as the Chair on the state Board of Equalization. Cohen represents twenty-three counties here in California, with Humboldt being one of them.   

This morning, Cohen introduced herself and met with the Board of Supervisors.

Previously, Cohen served on San Francisco’s Board of Supervisors as president, succeeding Mayor London Breed.

Cohen also paid a visit to Del Norte and Trinity counties.
