Humboldt Area C.H.P. Introduce New Officer

The Humboldt Area California Highway Patrol is introducing a new officer to their department.

Humboldt native, Kyle Nielsen, is a recent graduate from the C.H.P. academy in Sacramento.

Nielsen will commence a rigorous field training program where he will be assigned to three different officers. Each will ensure that he is capable of performing the job.

After Nielsen completes his first 55 days, he will be assigned a shift to patrol in Humboldt County.
