McKinleyville Residents Lose Power After Car Collides with Power Pole

Arcata, Ca. (KIEM) — Some McKinleyville residents were without power earlier today after a vehicle crashes into a power pole.

Arcata fire responded to Miller Lane and Parton Lane around 10 am Friday morning. Power lines were down on both streets. Several small fires started where the line went down, but at last check have all been extinguished.

According to Arcata Fire, the vehicle was totaled in the accident.
