Arcata Seeking Volunteers for Restoration Work Day

ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM) – The City of Arcata is seeking volunteers for a restoration work day this weekend.

Arcata’s Environmental Services Department along with Humboldt Fish Action Council and the U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife will be restoring the Fickle Hill Creek on Saturday, Nov. 9, starting at 9 a.m.

All volunteers are asked to meet at 255 Samoa Blvd. and bring water, gloves, and wear protective footwear and clothing. Lunch will be provided; as well as, extra gloves and tools.
