Tree Falls on Vehicle While Driving Along Broadway

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) — The wind and rain are creating chaos for North Coast drivers, including one driver that was struck by a tree on the roadway.

It happened just after 1 pm Tuesday afternoon. A white 4 door sedan was traveling Northbound on Broadway in the far right lane in Eureka when a tree fell and struck his vehicle.

The front of the car sustained minor damage to the front end, but no injuries were reported. Crews worked quickly to remove the tree from the roadway. Eureka Police and Humboldt Bay Fire responded to the scene.
