Fortuna’s 43rd Annual Holiday Music Festival

FORTUNA, Ca. (KIEM) – The city of Fortuna hosted its 43rd Annual Holiday Music Festival Sunday.

Fortuna tubas, accordions, mariachi, choirs, bands and a full orchestra performed at Fortuna’s Christmas music festival.

A selection of talent from all over Humboldt County delivered a musical gift to the community at Fortuna’s river lodge.

The festival ended just before 5:30pm on Sunday with an audience sing-along finale featuring silent night and the hallelujah chorus. 

The festival was free, but several charitable groups, including the Fortuna Junior Academy benefit from donations at the event.
