Logging Truck Overturns on Route 199

DEL NORTE COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – A logging truck overturns on a highway in Del Norte County.

West of Idlewild in the morning on Wednesday, Dec. 18 a logging truck overturned on State Route 199 closing the road.

California Highway Patrol reports the logging truck was traveling at an unsafe speed which led to the truck tipping over.

Maintenance crews worked quickly to move the truck and clear the highway.

Caltrans reports the driver was not injured.
