PG&E Adds Hundreds Of Weather Stations, 22 to Humboldt County

Humboldt County (KIEM)– Pacific Gas and Electric adds more weather stations and high definition cameras to monitor wildfire conditions.

PG&E added 22 stations and 4 high definition cameras throughout Humboldt County, including more than 600 weather stations throughout Northern and Central California.

This move is part of the electric company’s community wildfire safety program, to help enhance weather forecasting and improve the company’s ability to predict and respond to wildfire danger.

All stations are available online for the public to observe.
