Arcata Fire District Presents Toys Raised For Toys for Tots

Arcata, Ca. (KIEM)– Local children will receive holiday gifts all thanks to the Arcata Fire District.

It was a very successful season of giving and donations.

At their downtown station, the Arcata Fire District and Arcata Professional Firefighters Local 4981 presented all the funds and toys they collected this holiday season to the US Marine Corp League Toys for Tots.

Last year, Toys for Tots delivered toys to five-thousand children and they increased that number to over six-thousand this year.

If you’d like to donate, you can do so at the toys for tots main office or one of their many collection sites around town.
