HSU’s Winter Wishes Helps Wrap Gifts For Children in Need

Arcata, Ca. (KIEM)– Humboldt State students are chipping in to provide holiday gifts for local children in need.

Winter Wishes is a program coordinated by Forever Humboldt and consists of 91 sponsors, including HSU alumni, staff, faculty, students, athletic teams, student clubs, and residents.

Sponsors purchased over four-hundred gifts for local children in different nonprofit organizations.

HSU students, along with the women’s’ soccer and softball teams helped wrap the gifts.

Yesterday, the presents were delivered to the organizations and will be distributed to the children during various holiday celebrations.
