Humboldt County (KIEM)- California Highway Patrol officers are investigating a possible reckless driving incident that was posted to Facebook.
CHP received reports of a video posted to the social media site that appears to show a car swerving across two lanes, traveling at high speeds and a wet road.
An officer has been appointed on this case and is working to identify the driver’s identity and video’s authenticity.
According to CHP three-thousand people were killed in alcohol-related collisions in California form 2016 to 2018, and nearly eighty-thousand others were injured.
The highway patrol urges anyone who observes impaired or distracted driving, to call them immediately.
