Safety Meeting Tonight to Discuss F Street at Oak Street Intersection in Eureka

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – With recent vehicle collisions at a busy Eureka intersection, the community will have an opportunity to voice their concerns to law enforcement along with State and County Officials. F Street and Oak Street in Eureka has seen an increase in motorists and has been the site of several crashes. Grant school is located just a block away from the intersection.

Now, a safety meeting with Supervisor Rex Bohn and Public Works will be held tonight in the Grant School Library at 6. Eureka Police, C.H.P, the Sheriff’s Office, Caltrans and other agencies will all be in attendance. Going forward, residents want to see either a four-way stop or stop light at the intersection.
