Guilty Verdict for Man Who Stole Marijuana from Resident’s Home

EUREKA, CA. (KIEM) – A man is found guilty on charges of first-degree robbery after he stole marijuana from a garage at a residence in Eureka.

38-year-old Jack Kyle Daniels was in court Wednesday after an early morning theft of marijuana.

Daniels was accompanied by Nathan Sanders, who has already pled guilty to first-degree robbery.

Both men broke into a Eureka resident’s garage and attempted to steal packaged marijuana.

When confronted by a resident of the home, Sanders attacked the person while Daniels fled with the marijuana.

Daniels faces a maximum of six years in prison for this conviction, which is a “strike” under California law.
