Power restored to Southern Humboldt residents

GARBERVILLE, Ca (KIEM)-More than 900 Southern Humboldt residents were in the dark after a tree fell onto a power line.

The outage started at around 5:30 pm Tuesday and impacted the communities of Weott, Myers Flat, Miranda, Redcrest and Phillipsville.

PG&E information officer Deanna Contreras said crews worked safely and as quickly as possible to fully restore power by 6 Wednesday morning.
