Cali the Fire Dog Is Cancer Free!

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Cali the Humboldt Bay Fire Dog has a pup-date on her recovery…she is now cancer free!

After a major surgery last month due to cancer, Cali the fire dog has had her staples removed and is feeling much better.

She is taking Chinese herbal treatments to try and keep the cancer in remission.

And will be back working with elementary aged students to teach them about fire safety.

Cali said that she appreciates the outpouring of love and support from the community.
