California Highway Patrol Covid-19 Enforcement Update

CRESCENT CITY, CA. (KIEM) – With rumors circulating the community, Crescent City Highway Patrol has some clarifications about the current Covid-19 situation.

The border between California and Oregon remains open and there is no discussion of closing it in the near future. Residents are able to cross the border between the states, but for the sake of public health and safety are asked to remain at home.

California Highway Patrol is not making stops to enforce the stay at home order or to ask why motorists are on the road.
