Food for People Drive Thru Event Helps Feed Over a Thousand People

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM)– A recent drive thru event helped feed over a thousand community members.

Food for People partnered up with Cooperation Humboldt, Uplift Eureka, EPD and CHP to distribute boxes of perishable food to over 500 vehicles.

After two hours, over 500 boxes of food were given out to community members.

Food for People says they will do an event like this again if they get enough food to donate and give out to the community.
