HOOPA VALLEY, Ca. (KIEM)-For those in need of food in the Hoopa Valley, help is on the way.

With the assistance of the Hoopa Tribe, a free food box will be available starting Tuesday April 27th,  from noon  until 4 p.m.

Delivery is available but only for those who qualify.

There is a limit of one box per household and residents are asked to go to one of three distribution locations which are at the Tsemeta Forest Nursery, Hoopa Fire Station and Hoopa Modular Plant or direct your question here: questions@hoopaoes.org

If you are unable to make the event due to transportation issues call (530) 625-8100 to arrange a delivery, calling ahead is best due to high demand.
