City of McKinleyville hosting sidewalk chalk art contest

MCKINLEYVILL, Ca. (KIEM)-A sidewalk chalk art contest is being hosted by the Mckinleyville Chamber and sponsored by the Green Diamond Resource company.

There will be four categories for the contest: art by kids, teens, adults, and the piece with the most community spirit.

Voting will take place on the Chalk the Town Facebook page from May 11th through the 15th.

Winners will be announced on Monday, May 18th and will receive gift cards from local businesses.

To enter, submit a photo of your art with your name and age to both kirsten@mckinleyvillecsd.com and jesse@mckinleyvillechamber.com
