Eureka’s 4th of July festival cancelled due to COVID-19

EUREKA, Ca (KIEM)-Eureka Main Street has made the difficult decision to cancel the 2020 Fourth of July festival and fireworks show along the Eureka waterfront.

The Arcata Chamber of Commerce and southern Humboldt have also had to cancel their Fourth of July events. Eureka Main Street said they are all cautious about the risks large gatherings might have on the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
