Illegal Drugs and Weapons Discovered at Unpermitted Cannabis Grow

PETROLIA, Ca. (KIEM) – Drug and weapons charges are filed after a warrant is served for illegal cannabis cultivation in the area of tobacco road in Petrolia.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Enforcement Team Deputies eradicated approximately 353 growing cannabis plants and seized 62 grams of methamphetamine, six firearms, and numerous prescription pills that were packaged for sale.

59-year-old Carol Wilson was cited and released, while a second subject fled the scene. The case is currently under investigation
