Community members flock back to Sequoia Park Zoo

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM)– The Sequoia Park Zoo is opening its doors once again to community members and families in the area.

Things have changed since reopening.  If you would like a ticket to the zoo you must reserve them online. The zoo cannot allow anyone to purchase tickets at the entryway.

New safety guidelines are in place at the zoo to keep you and the animals safe. Residents must social distance when inside the zoo.

The zoo is also limiting capacity to seventy five guests per two hour block. The zoo is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We visited the zoo today to see the communities reaction to the grand reopening.
