Redwood Acres prepares for July 11 race

EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) – The wait is over. Racing returns to Redwood Acres on July 11.

No fans will be allowed in the stands, but the races will be live-streamed with the track’s regular announcer. The number of cars was limited for social distancing, but the track is expected to see between 50 and 60 cars.

Safety precautions will be in place to ensure the well-being of each team. The race will also feature a brand new scoreboard above the track. Fans can expect cleaner racing under the new ownership. The action begins at 3 p.m. featuring six divisions of racing.
