Humboldt County seeking input on cannabis marketing assessment

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — Humboldt County is looking for feedback from residents on their recent cannabis marketing assessment.

The goal of the assessment is to learn from Napa’s wine industry and Columbia’s coffee industry to see how Humboldt County could create a successful regional brand for the local cannabis industry. The county worked with professionals and advocates in the Humboldt County Grower’s Alliance to create the report on the strategy for the industry with funding through Project Trellis.

A survey is available on the Humboldt County government’s economic development website and will be accepting responses through September 21st. The final assessment is expected to be reviewed by the county board of supervisors in the fall.
