Humboldt State University Receives a Gold Star Rating For Sustainability

ARCATA, Ca. (KIEM) – Humboldt State University earns a gold star rating for their sustainability achievements from the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.

This is the third stars honor given to H.S.U. from the organization over the past seven years.

Four areas are judged to determine the awards: academics, engagement, operations, planning and administration.

The University has received ever-increasing ratings over the years thanks to their commitment to environmental responsibility and social justice.
