2 Covid-19 cases reported Tuesday, Humboldt County now in tier 4 of state reopening plan

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department reports two new cases of Covid-19 Tuesday. The county has now moved into tier four, the least restrictive tier, in the statewide reopening protocol.

Health officials are monitoring 23 active cases. The number of recoveries and hospitalizations remains unchanged. Of the total cases, 339 had contact to a known case, 109 are travel related, and 73 a result of community transmission. There are 3 cases under investigation.
