PG&E says Humboldt County is included in Thursday’s PSPS Event

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — PG&E says it is going ahead with a planned power outage for 15 counties across the state including Humboldt County.

The outage will happen Thursday night at 8pm and will affect 288 customers in the county. Residents in portions of Alderpoint, Blocksburg, Bridgeville, Dinsmore, and Kneeland are within the scope of the PSPS. A community resource center will be set up at the Bridgeville School District at 38717 Kneeland Road on Thursday from 5-10 p.m.

PG&E crews will be out and about on Friday morning to check power lines to see if they’re usable.
