HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department confirms 2 new cases of Covid-19 Thursday. The total case count stands at 561 after a previous case was reassigned to the person’s county of residence.
Health officials are tracking 21 active cases. Of the total cases, 357 had contact to a known case, 115 were travel related, and 73 a result of community transmission. There are 16 cases under investigation.
On a more encouraging note, 2 more recoveries were reported today as well, bringing that number to 531.
