Slater Fire 86% contained, Devil Fire 67% contained

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Ca. (KIEM) – Firefighters are successfully containing the slater and devil fires up to our north.

The Slater Fire stands at 86% containment after burning just over 157,000 acres. Limited fire activity has been seen over the last few days.

The Devil Fire remains at 67% containment and has burned more than 8,850 acres. It is being monitored by air resources.
