Demetrius Coleman found guilty of 2019 Rio Dell Homicide

RIO DELL, Calif. (KIEM) — After more than a year, Demetrius Coleman is found guilty of first degree murder for killing Johnny Mack Renfro in Rio Dell back in August of 2019. Coleman was also convicted of a special circumstance for firing a gun from a vehicle.

Back on August 29^th, Renfro was pulled over on Monument Road when another car approached him and fired multiple shots. Renfro was transported to St. Joseph Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries. Sentencing is set for January 7th.
