5 new Covid-19 cases, 14 more recoveries reported Friday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department reports 5 new cases of Covid-19 Friday.

Health officials are monitoring 57 active cases. One more hospitalization has been reported as well.

Of the total 658 cases reported, 398 had contact to a known case, 160 were travel related, and 87 a result of community transmission. 13 cases are still under investigation.

Fourteen more recoveries were reported as well, bringing that number to 591.
