17 new Covid-19 cases reported in Humboldt County Tuesday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Humboldt County Public Health Department confirms 17 new cases of Covid-19 Tuesday bringing the total case count to 801. Now, health officials are monitoring 138 active cases.

Since the start of the pandemic, 431 people contracted the virus through contact with a known case, 171 are travel related, and 90 a result of community transmission. There are 109 cases under investigation. The number of recoveries remains unchanged for Tuesday.
