COUTESY: PAY IT FORWARD (KIEM)

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM )- The North Coast Mennonite Church youth group assembled six storage sheds which will be used by August Complex Fire survivors in Trinity County.

These sheds will be used to store items during the winter and during the rebuild.

JR. Barns donated the sheds and Pay It Forward Humboldt contributed $3,000 toward supplies, thanks to a grant from the Emergency Disaster Response Fund of the Humboldt Area Foundation and Wild Rivers Community Foundations.

Jeff England with Trinity County Food Bank will help transport and deliver sheds those returning home and matched Pay it Forward Humboldt’s $3,000- which also went toward supplies.

The sheds are spoken for – however – the non-profits are hoping to collaborate with contactors to build more sheds.
