Del Norte County reports 15 new Covid-19 cases Tuesday

DEL NORTE COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Del Norte County Public Health Department has confirms 15 new cases of Covid-19 Tuesday.

Of the new cases, 5 are people who are currently incarcerated. Four people are currently hospitalized. Health officials are monitoring 117 active cases. Close to 11,000 tests have been performed.

Since the start of the pandemic, Del Norte County has reported a total of 489 cases of Covid-19, and 1 person has died from the virus.
